10月23日至26日，由中国电子学会主办，安徽大学、中国电子学会电波传播分会、中国电子学会天线分会、中国电波传播研究所承办，电波环境特性及模化技术重点实验室、计算智能与信号处理教育部重点实验室、电磁空间安全全国重点实验室、信息材料与智能感知安徽省实验室、机电动态控制重点实验室等单位联合承办的2024年天线、传播和电磁理论(The 14th International Symposium on Antennas, Propagation and EM Theory)国际会议在安徽省合肥市召开。我院教师任新应邀参加了本次会议，向大会提交了题为“Study on Composite Electromagnetic Scattering from Polar Surface with Buried Target by the Method of Moments”的口头报告论文，并作为分会场主席主持了TP3C（Target Detection Technologies, Synthetic Aperture Radar Imaging and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar Imaging）分会场的口头报告。

本次会议共收到投稿751篇，共组织了8场主旨报告，57个分会场及116场特邀报告，190场口头报告，426个张贴报告。本次会议现场参会人数832人，为历届会议之最。

本次大会主席为安徽大学吴先良教授、中国电子学会电波传播分会主任委员吴健研究员。Stefano Maci (University of Siena, Italy)、Ari Sihvola (Aalto University, Finland)、Sana Salous (Durham University,UK)、Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo ( Chiba University, Japan)、Yi Huang(University of Liverpool, UK)、Ke Wu (University of Montreal, Canada)、Wonbin Hong (Pohang University of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea)、Qing Huo Liu (Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo, China)分别为大会带来了题为Metasurface antennas and RIS in Space and 6G Scenarios、The Fascinating World of Lorenz–Mie Scattering、Challenges of 6G deployment in the mmwave and sub-THz bands、Circularly Polarized Antennas for Drone, Airborne, HAPS, and Spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar: Remote Sensing Missions and Applications、Recent Developments in Wireless Energy Harvesting and Power Transfer、Exploring Structural Integration, Physical Agility, Multifunctional Operation, and Performance Enhancement through Mode-Diversity and Mode-Selectivity、The end of the Classical Information Theory using EM Skin-on-Demand、Recent Progress in the Finite Element Spectral Integral (FESI) Method的精彩的主旨报告。

据悉，天线、传播与电磁理论国际会议（ISAPE）是一项国际学术会议，每两年举办一次，旨在为世界各地的学者、研究人员、工程师和学生提供了一个交流天线、传播和电磁理论领域最新进展的平台。

本次会议报到注册当天下午，中国电子学会电波传播分会第八次会员代表大会暨《电波科学学报》第七届编委会2024年度工作会议于15:00~18:00在安徽合肥市施柏阁大观酒店负一楼宴会厅2召开，任新成教授当选为中国电子学会电波传播分会委员，这是我院教师第一次在中国电子学会电波传播分会担任委员职务。
